Palmyra, New York and More (Warning...lots of pictures!)

My family was able to fly out and visit us last week. We had quite the adventure. We hit all the stops from Kirtland to Palmyra. It was so much fun. We missed my other brother and sister and their spouses though.
Our first stop was Niagara Falls...
It was amazing!!

See the boat in the above picture, we were able to go on it. It was awesome!
Here we go, nice and dry...

I was surprised how wet we ended up getting!!
This guy cracked me up!! He was just quietly sitting in his booth reading his book, while the rest of us outside were getting soaked and holding on for dear life while we were being tossed around!

After the boat ride, we walked up the trail to see how close we could get to the falls. We were definitely drenched by the time we came back down.

My Mom and Dad and Nate and I were able to do sealings at the Palymra temple. The sessions were all full. It was a beautiful temple.
That night we went to the Hill Cumorah Pageant. My Mom was especially excited to see it, because she was in it 30 years ago!
Before the pageant started, the cast walked around and welcomed everyone. Here we are with a couple that we were neighbors with in Rexburg and Lehi and his wife who were from Alpine, UT.
2 Lamanites that are from the same town we live in in Ohio.
Eating dinner while waiting for the pageant to start!

The pageant was so awesome. We loved it!
At the top of the Hill Cumorah the next day.
At the entrance of the Sacred Grove.

In the Sacred Grove.

You can't get any more precious then watching your husband and son walking around in the Sacred Grove. It was such an amazing place. We loved it there.

Walking around the Smith Family Farm

The home Joseph Smith grew up in.
Joseph's bedroom.
The Printing Press, where the Book of Mormon was first printed.
One of the first Book of Mormons.
We also visited Alvin Smith (Joseph Smith's older brother) grave.
The Martin Harris Home.

I love this picture... Coulson needed a diaper change. Us girls sat back and watched how many men it took to change a poopy diaper!! Looks like 3!
Got the job done!!!
On Sunday, we went to the Palmyra Ward and then went over to the temple to take some pictures.

There is a beautiful window inside the temple that looks right to the Sacred Grove. Here you can see the Sacred Grove from outside the temple.
"I love to see the temple."

Playing in the dirt at the Peter Whittmer Farm.

Back to Kirtland.
Kirtland Temple.
He is beginning to be quit the poser. He loves to say "cheese!"

On the Morley Farm.
It was a beautiful area.
At the John Johnson Farm.
The Kirtland Cemetary

One of Joseph Smith's homes in Kirtland.

I loved being able to see all of the church's history. I learned so much.

Thanks Mom, Dad, Chelsi, Shay, and Trev for coming out here and creating some wonderful memories with us. We love you!
