I had to post these pictures, because if any of you have read the story "Make Way for Ducklings," you would understand what these duck statues are for. It is a really cute book about a family of duckling that are looking for a place to make their home in Boston. They end up in the Public Gardens in Boston and that is where these cute little statues are.

I love this picture because it shows are cute little Couls exhausted after a long day of walking around the streets of Boston. Poor boy!

I had to post something about Nate's birthday, because he said he was boycotting it this year, ha ha. He is so funny! As a early birthday present, Coulson and I gave Nate some tickets to go and see the Cleveland Indians play the Texas Rangers (his team!) They just happen to be playing the week of his birthday! We had a blast. The Rangers won, that is them in the background celebrating!!

For those of you who don't know, we are now in Ohio (Cleveland)!! Nate is in a Financial Leadership Rotation Program with his company which means we move every 6 months for 2 years. So we have now moved to Ohio! We sure do miss the beautiful city of Boston but we are in for another adventure here in Ohio!

A lot has happened in the last month so we have a lot of pictures to post so check back often and I will get posting!

Our Hot Co Co

I don't know where the time goes, but it sure has flown by. I can't believe that my little Coulson is already 3 months old. He is so much fun and we just can't get enough of him.

Here are some new things he loves to do:

1. He loves to suck on his hands and drools some much while doing it he creates a puddle on the floor and your shirt gets soaking wet!

2. He has learned to arch his back if he wants out of his carseat or where ever he is.

3. He loves to stand up while you hold his fingers.

4. He is super strong! (At least that is what we think, but we don't know any different. He is our first child.) He tries to sit himself up when he is laying down.

5. He loves his Gymboree. A couple of weeks ago he learned how to make it play music by

hitting it. Now he tries to kick it with his feet!

6. If you lay him on his belly on a blanket, he will kick until he has made a complete circle and then slowly move himself off the blanket.

7. He loves to smile, play, and interact with people.

On Friday night, we went to "5 Guys Burgers and Fries." Soo Good! And Coulson was dancing to the music. You have to listen very closely to hear the music.

Summer Plaid!

On, Saturday, we all just happened to be wearing our new plaid shorts. I just had to take a picture, because I thought it was so cute!

A day at the beach...

On Friday, we drove up to New Hampshire and went to the beach. It was a pretty nice day except it was a little windy! We had a lot of fun! I don' t think Coulson knew what to think of the water, he didn't smile or cry. We walked up and down the board walk and had some good old fried dough and hand squeezed Lemonade. It was a very enjoyable day!!

The 4th of July in Boston...

Boston sure knows how to throw a 4th of July party! We spent the 4th of July on the banks of the Charles River with 500,000 Bostonians, The Boston Pops, and Neil Diamond. They shot off the fireworks from a barge in the middle of the Charles River after everyone watched the performances and sang together "Sweet Caroline." It was pretty cool to hear everyone singing it together. Just as an FYI, "Sweet Caroline," by Neil Diamond, has been a tradition to sing in the middle of the 8th inning at Fenway Park since earlier this decade.

Coulson enjoyed waving his American Flag and showing his patriotism. One funny thing that we learned is that all Mormons like Jell-O. At least that is what a girl sitting next to us from New York informed us that she learned in her religious studies courses in college. We were a little interested to know what other interesting facts she learned from her professors. But in the defense of her professor, Jell-O is very tasty! It is colorful, jiggly, wiggly, and fun to squish around in your mouth. (in case you are wondering I wrote this so no one thinks my wife is weird writing about Jell-O.) She is just in denial about her Mad Mormon love for that wiggly goodness! Just ask Bill Cosby, I heard he is Mormon too. Or maybe he just likes Jell-O.

Freedom Trail

On Saturday, we walked the Freedom Trail. The Freedom Trail is a 2 1/2 mile red-painted path that connects 17 of Boston's most historic sites through out the city, such as Paul Revere's house, the Old North Church, the Boston Massacre site, and the Bunker Hill Monument. Boston is such a beautiful city with so much history. We are sure going to miss it.
