The Most Wonderful Time of the Year...

We had a wonderful Christmas, especially because we were home in Idaho. It was so nice to spend time with family and friends, but wish we had more time. Here are some pictures from Coulson's 1st Christmas...

Avery's Children's Christmas Party

Nate's work put on the cutest Christmas Party for all the employees' children. There was so much to do... you could visit Santa, watch a magic show, have clowns paint your face, make crafts, play games with the DJ, play in the many bounce houses, ride the Christmas train, and much more!! We had a lot of fun!

Coulson was scared of Santa, but I don't think it was actually "Santa" that scared him, he just has stranger anxiety big time!!
(Notice the little stuffed penguin Santa has in his hand that he tried to lure Coulson in with, didn't work!!)

They gave each child some really nice gifts! He loves paper!! We can't wait for Christmas!

Oh and P.S. I can't believe my baby is 8 months old. AAHH!

7 Months!!!

We can't believe our sweet baby is 7 months old. How does that happen so fast? He is growing up so quickly. We just wish we could slow it all down. He brings so much joy into our lives. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't thank our Heavenly Father for him. We are so blessed to have his sweet spirit in our home. We love you so much Coulson!

He has learned so much in the past month. Here are a couple of new things that he has conquered!
  • Speed Crawling.
  • Standing up next to things- He loves to help Mommy do the dishes!
  • Sippy Cups- I still nurse him, but he loves to have apple juice in a sippy cup. We are skipping the bottle stage!
  • Saying "Ma Ma!"
  • He loves growling like a bear and playing hide and seek games!

So he is really getting to be a pretty fast crawler! Today at church, we sat on the front row (Lucky us! That is what we get for being a little late, right!?!) and I sat him on the floor in front of us with some toys. Nate and I were listening to the speaker and a few seconds later, I looked down and he was gone! I, of course, instantly panicked! Nate said that I let out a little panic noise! We couldn't see him anywhere! I looked under the bench and of course he was cruising down under the benches! He was almost 3 benches behind us. That little turkey is quick!
