Happy 70th Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa and Happy Birthday Nathan!
On Saturday, Nathan's Grandma and Grandpa celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary. Can you believe it, 70 years! Now that is impressive! Nate's family had a little celebration and family reunion in Twin Falls. It was a wonderful day! We started off going to the Twin Falls Temple Open house and then to the Blue Lakes Country Club. At the Club, we had a lucheon and then some went golfing and others went to Bass Lake. Nate loves to golf, so we went golfing. I didn't golf, I just drove the golf cart and took pictures! It is a beautiful course! We had a fun day together as a family. Thanks Mel for planning a memorable day!

David Archuleta's New Single!
I know you all probably think that I have an obsession with David Archuleta (I might), but I just thought I would post his first new song to see what everybody thought of it. Hope you like it...
I told Nate that I was going to post this and he said that our blog was becoming the Heidi and David Archuleta Blog instead of Nathan and Heidi Rich Blog!! Ha ha, I have such a funny husband!!

Twin Falls Temple
This weekend my family and Nathan and I had the opportunity to go to the Twin Falls Temple Open House. It is such a beautiful Temple. We are so lucky to have a temple in our area now.

My Brother-in-Law, Greg did the Spudman Triathlon this past Saturday. He did it in 2 hours and 37 minutes. We are so proud of him!
Our sweet niece Alli, took this picture for us!

American Idol Concert!
My family and I had the opportunity to go to the American Idol Concert in Salt Lake. We are crazy American Idol fans! Here are some pictures from the concert.
We had to stop at Murray High School and take pictures where our favorite Idol, David Archuleta went to school!

If you can't tell, Chelsi is a complete Jason Castro fan! I think it might even be an obsession.

Shay is a David Archuleta fan along with me, my Mom, and Rendi
It was so fun to see all of the Idols! Michael Johns was definitely one of the biggest entertainers of the show. Kristy Lee Cook had improved so much. I loved Brooke White! She was one of my favorites. The first thing she said when she came out on stage was, “Utah, this is the place.” David Archuleta! He was definitely the STAR of the show, being in his home town. I have never in my whole life heard a crowd scream so loud! It was pretty much a stadium of little Mormon girls screaming their hearts out for him. I have to admit, I might have been one of those girls. He was just as amazing in person as he was on the show! And David Cook, what more can I say! He was awesome as usual.
After the show, we were determined to meet the Idols, so my Mom asked about 10 ushers how we could. Most of them didn't know much, but one usher told us to go to the back of the stadium and wait at the gate and when they would get on their tour bus they would see us and come talk to us. So we ran outside as fast as we could, and of course, there were about 200 other crazy fans doing the same thing. We made it up to the front of the gate and waited patiently for them to come out. They came out one at time. We met most of them and were able to get their autographs too! After the Idols left, my Mom continued to talk to the Ushers and one of them told us to come back tomorrow around noon and stand by the gate again and when they came to get ready for the show they would see us and come talk to us again. I had to go back to work unfortunately, but the rest of my family stayed and got to meet them again, but this time with a lot less people. Which meant they got to spend a little more one on one time with them. Overall, it was so much fun. Nate and Rendi weren’t able to go, because it was finals week at school. We definitely missed them. I can’t wait till January when we start all over again with another exciting American Idol Season!

Blog Update!!
Tomorrow would be my 3 month mark of not blogging so I decided that I better get going on this blogging thing, before tomorrow!
The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays, mostly because of the traditions we have in Rupert! I love eating on the Square every night, watching Rupert's wonderful parade, and watching the fireworks on the River! We had a great 4th and I hope everyone did too. Here are a few pictures of our 4th this year. I need to be better at carrying my camera around and getting more pictures.

Happy Easter!
Hope this Easter went well for everyone. We had an enjoyable and fun Easter with our families in Rupert. One of our family traditions at Easter is that my Dad does an Easter egg hunt for all of us kids in our backyard. We look forward to it each year!
Getting ready to go outside for the big hunt... (Don't ask why I am making that face!)

Our dog, Gunner enjoyed the Easter egg hunt as well. We found him eating some Whoppers so I decided to help him out with his wrappers.

After the the hunt, we came in and divided the candy equally between everyone. We had a fun time!

A Poem For My Beautiful Wife
One thing that I have learned about my wife, outside of being beautiful, kind, caring, thoughtful, hardworking, compassionate, and funny, is that she loves holidays! It doesn't matter what holiday it is, she is always in the mood to celebrate and have fun. So for this Easter with our never ending fund of cash I decided I would attempt to write you a poem instead of buying you a new Toyota Camry. So here goes...
It is with New Years that we start
And then to Valentines with an open heart.
Easter then comes along a hop
And we share the 4th with firecracker pop!
Halloween shows up and gives us a fright
Halloween shows up and gives us a fright
Thanksgivings full of food to our stomachs delight!
Christmas wraps it all up in merry cheer,
But there is only one person I want to be with all year.
And in case you didn't know, That person is you my dear!
