LA ZOO!

My awesome friend Stacy and her little girl, Shylie have a LA Zoo pass. With their Zoo pass, they can get in one friend every time they go. They are so kind to let Coulson and I come along with them. We usually try to make it to the Zoo once a month. Coulson loves it every time we go! We have gone 3-4 times and so I thought I would post some of my pictures from our different visits.

On certain days, they have a petting zoo open. He loves that!

These two kiddos are best friends and love going to the Zoo together!

Huntington Beach

A couple weeks ago we went to the beach with a couple of our good friends, The Thomas' and The Christensens. We had so much fun and can't wait to go back!

Both families that we went with were both born and raised here in California so it was nice, because they taught us all the cool things to do at the beach. For example; to dig in the sand and find sand crabs! I love that all the boys were diggin for them. Boys will be boys!

Coulson loved them. I was surprised that he held them!

Coulson asks everyday when we can go back to the beach. He always says, "remember the beach and the sand, water, and crabs."
I have a feeling we will become regular beach-goers!

Independence Day 2011!!

We had a really fun Fourth of July this year. It was filled with of lots of enjoyable activities and friends! It is always fun to experience the Fourth of July in a new town!

We started out the day with a local hometown parade...

After we watched the parade, we had lunch with all our friends and then hit the pool, since it was 100 degrees that day, literally!

That night we went to dinner with all our friends and then went to the park to watch the local firework show.

Coulson was in total awe!

It was a really good show, they had lots of fireworks I had never seen before.

We had a palm tree in our view the whole time to remind us we were watching fireworks this year in California!!

We hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July like we did! We are so grateful to be living in such a beautiful and choice land.

Happy Graduation Chels!

We have been MIA for a while now, mostly because my little sister, Chelsi graduated from high school and so we went home to Idaho for a couple of weeks. We took a million pictures while we were there so I decided to just post these. We just wanted to tell Chels Congrats! We are so proud of you and are excited for you to start a new chapter in your life. We love you!

If you were wondering...

Some of you may (or I guess, may not) be wondering what the gender of our second baby is going to be. Well, we decided (with the persuasion of some sweet friends and family) not to find out the gender and make it a surprise! I know, some of you are thinking, what were they thinking!! I think the same thing some days too actually! I have always wanted to wait and make it a surprise, but I never planned on doing it with my 2nd baby, I was thinking more down the line like the 4th one or so. We thought what the heck though, we have everything we will need except for clothes and I can always handle clothes shopping. So... 6 months down in waiting, 3 more to go! It will be fun!

Congrats!!

My little sister, Rendi and her husband Greg had their first little one today! We are so happy for them and Coulson is so excited to have his first little cousin on my side of the family.
